Cross'd Paws Farm Sanctuary originally got its name from a special cat we'd rescued named Harold. He was a founding member and his habit of sitting with crossed paws gave us the name. We'd been rescuing cats through TNR since 1990, though with the advent of our sanctuary, we switched to taking in feral cats from colonies which lost their caretaker.
All of our Sanctuary cats, 24 in all, live inside our house but have safe access to the outdoors through a series of enclosed tunnels leading to three outdoor "cat houses."
All of our cats are elderly, chronically ill, or feral. Their food, canned and dry, costs $94.50 per week, and $405 per month.
With a sponsorship donation, you will receive info and photos detailing our history with cats including individual profiles of our feline residents.
