This is Newla, our founding cow. She had been a working cow at a dairy where Liz had worked and when Newla was five years old, she was getting shipped to slaughter, and Liz bought her. She was able to live with us to age 21 at Crossed Paws Farm Sanctuary. We lost her in 2010 and we miss her everyday!
