Rosie was a wonderful friend to Newla the cow, but especially to our pony, Radar. She and the pony had been very bonded, and when he died she was left bereft. To make her happy we'd adopted George the donkey and it was love at first sight!  

Rosie lived with us for over 12 years and when she passed, George was lonely so we adopted Pixie. We learned from this experience that donkeys are happiest with a donkey partner. They will make due with another animal, but true joy comes with a donkey partner.
